The Federation are continuing to provide a number of two day pre-retirement courses in 2016. The courses are open to all Police Officers of federated rank who are looking to retire in the near future.
To be eligible to apply to attend a course, you must be a subscribing member of the Police Federation and due to retire within eighteen months of your application. Attendance on the course is for those within their last 12 months only.
The course is a two day event, held at external locations, and covers the essential information you may require to assist you to move into retirement.

Please also ensure that your duty teams are aware of your application.
The course administration is done through Peoplesoft, and the Federation do not have access to this system to book courses. There are 20 places available for each date, so officers may only apply for one course, and may not pre book multiple dates.
If you are allocated a course and cannot attend, please cancel at the earliest opportunity. These courses are paid for from federation funds, and we want to give as many individuals as possible the opportunity to benefit from the input.

- 11th & 12th January
- 22nd & 23rd March
- 10th & 11th May
- 7th & 8th June
- 4th & 5th October
- 29th & 30th November
The courses run between 09:30 and 16:30 on both days.
